Education Minister Dolores Cristina on Friday handed out 362 warrants to teachers working in independent, Church and state schools.

The Government was investing heavily in education and modern technology was being used in schools, Ms Cristina said. This was a challenge that teachers should take up because it was in the best interest of the students.

The Government was also investing in teachers and their professional development. Human resources were one of the country’s main pillars and teachers were trusted with this resource for the country to move forward, she said.
