Quickfocus.com is a virtual bridge between academia and industry that offers users the opportunity to access industry experts and tap into their experience.
The site brings together educational tools and e-learning material – the concept was derived from more than 25 years of local and international in-practice experience.
Quickfocus’s knowledge base, QuickPM, is an applied knowledge network that is ideal for students, job seekers, novices and practitioners. It provides users with a virtual and agile business mentor. Apart from the professional tool, which is on sale at €29.95, there is also a free version called QuickPM Lite.
The philosophy behind QuickPM is based on the basic formula that people and processes result in product. There are many agile methods that propose processes to promote ways to reduce time to market, reduce cost, increase productivity and improve quality.
QuickPM is not only about agility. While it focuses on the process, QuickPM’s main focus is on people and puts forward a message to influence people to look at good as the enemy of great.
