Contact with nature

Home to over 200 species of birds and animals, Bird Park Malta in Salina Bay last week hosted schoolchildren to an educational awareness programme launch by MP Charlo Bonnici. Children enjoyed direct contact with the birds, including flamingos, pelicans, swans, storks, owls and parrots and other animals, such as kangaroos, wallabies, antelope, meerkat and deer.
