Ice-breaking day

St Martin’s College Sixth Form recently organised its annual ice-breaking activity for the new intake of first year students. The event took place at Mistra Bay where the 65 students, split into teams, were faced with the challenge of creating rafts from logs, barrels and rope and then launching their raft and rowing out to sea. The morning’s activities helped the students get to know each other better at the start of their shared Sixth Form experience.
