A student publication and a teacher’s manual aimed at stimulating class activities linked to entrepreneurship was recently launched at the first of a series of events held to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the EU Single Market.
During the event organised by the European Commission Representation and Junior Achievement – Young Enterprise Malta, around 75 students from various schools took part in workshops that focused on the different aspects of business. They also listened to success stories from Maltese entrepreneurs who transformed their ideas into realities.
Fair Competition, Small Businesses and Consumers Minister Jason Azzopardi stressed that “the future of entrepreneurship is built upon ideas, innovation and creation by tomorrow’s entrepreneurs”. He also referred to the Entrepreneurship through Education scheme, which channels €100,000 annually for public, private and Church schools to create entrepreneurship projects and initiatives.
