Nationalist MP Franco Debono has asked the Clerk of the House to hand over to the Commissioner of Police a speech he made in Parliament on the government's plans to acquire St Philip's Hospital.
In his speech, he said that the deal was suspicious, more so in view of the political connections of St Philip's owner Frank Portelli.
He also said that the state should not bail out any person who ran into financial difficulties.
Dr Debono also recalled that he had presented a motion in the House over the planned acquisition, but it was not debated.
The House Public Accounts Committee is due to start discussing the proposed deal this evening.
