Jailed 10 years for importing drugs

Mikulas Vilagi admitted in court today to having imported cocaine and heroin in 100 capsules in his stomach.

He was arrested on October 14, 2009 after flying in from the Netherlands via Brussels.

He filed his guilty plea instead of undergoing trial by jury.

Vilagi was jailed for 10-and-a-half years and fined €23,000.
