Education Minister Dolores Cristina recently presented scholarships worth a total of €803,726 to 59 students currently studying to obtain degrees or diplomas related to financial services or digital media through full-time programmes offered by local or international private institutions.

The scholarships were awarded as part of the Malta College of Arts Science and Technology’s Training Subsidy Scheme, funded through two European Social Fund programmes coordinated by the college.

Most of the students are following studies in computing and information systems technologies and management, networking and internet applications, while eight are studying accounting, finance, banking, economics and management.
