Seven migrants relocated to Denmark

Seven migrants from Somalia, including a family of five and two single adults who were granted subsidiary protection in Malta, have left Malta to start a new life in Denmark.

This latest departure brings the total number of migrants who have been  relocated from Malta since 2005 to 1,737.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office in Malta and the International Organisation for Migration were involved in collaboration with the Danish authorities at various stages of this relocation process.

The exercise was wholly financed by the Danish authorities.

@ Charles Grixti

I agree with you, however in Denmark`s case absorbing seven illegal immigrants won`t break the system. This is just a clear case of tokenism that`s all.

That does not mean that Denmark will not be bled dry.

In Toronto where the taxi drivers are all recent immigrants, mostly Muslim, it came to light that 750 have been collecting welfare cheques at the same time earning thousands of dollars a year of undeclared income. The City pays welfare from city and property taxes. But for some reason, politicians keep bringing more immigrants in.
