Memo on implementation of e-learning platform signed

A memorandum on the implementation of an e-learning platform in state primary schools was signed today between the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education, the Directorate for Educational Services and the Malta Union of Teachers

It is the outcome of the 2010 agreement between the government and the MUT whereby the value of e-learning as a pedagogical principle and the investment that Malta is making with regard to e-learning were acknowledged.

It is designed to assist the incremental implementation of the virtual learning environment in schools, where implementation and training is being carried out.

Excellent indeed. Teachers have been trained for it. Now they will be given more training AFTER school. In the meantime, internet connections in staffrooms are working wonderfully and the schools are clean as a whistle. No single cockroach was seen so far, this year.
