MSV inaugurates €1m customer service centre
With the official inauguration of MSV Life plc’s €1 million customer service centre on Floriana’s Pope John XXIII Square in recent days, the company has completed a thorough and complex restructuring which started in 2010.
Showing Finance Minister Tonio Fenech around the premises after a brief ceremony, chairman Frederick Mifsud Bonnici explained that with more than 100,000 policies and 80,000 policyholders, MSV Life was the leading life insurance company in the country.
“This project is a clear indic-ation of the importance which the company gives to its customers,” he said. The organis-ation has been successfully transformed into a stand-alone, self-sufficient life insurance company under the leadership of chief executive David G. Curmi.
Established on September 2, 1994, MSV is the leading provider of life protection, long-term savings and retirement planning in Malta. MSV is jointly owned by Bank of Valletta plc and Middlesea Insurance plc, a member of the Mapfre Group.
The new centre will allow the company to increase its access-ibility to existing and prospect-ive customers by providing an uninterrupted 8am to 5pm one-stop shop for client servicing and financial advice on life insurance, savings and investment requirements.
Mr Fenech praised MSV Life for creating a number of new jobs in the current climate over the past two years, and for its increased efforts to embrace and practise strong values of corporate social responsibility.
