Exceptional medical care

I have spent most of this year in hospital, both at Mater Dei and Karin Grech.

I wish to express my great appreciation for the care and attention I was given at both places.

The nurses and helpers at SW1 demonstrated kindness and love towards me that were really wonderful. Also, in Ward 7 at Karin Grech Hospital, where I spent four months for rehabilitation, the love and kindness shown here were simply exceptional.

More recently, I needed care in Surgical Ward 3 and I must thank all the staff.

We are privileged to have a hospital that is so well equipped with the most modern tools for diagnosis and, as a result, I underwent an operation, with what I consider miraculous results.

My mother had spent some time in the same ward and it was so good to see that all the nurses who knew her remembered her with affection.

Finally, I must say that the physiotherapists at Karin Grech and Mater Dei did a wonderful job.

It is thanks to them that I am able to walk now.
