Do you ever go to work feeling the time pressure building up inside you even though the day has barely started? Do you feel that you could use that little extra boost to make your customers leave with a smile, or to be able to close your negotiations with confidence?

Malta Business School, the education division of Allied Consultants Limited, has just launched its first set of short professional business courses aimed mostly at workers who want to improve their productivity and impress their peers. These courses focus on effective negotiation skills, time management, practical marketing, customer care, the art of selling, creativity and problem solving.

The business world is becoming more demanding and expectations are highly complex, but professional education can bring you to the forefront of the newest trends and practices to gain that edge needed to be proactive and succeed in your business.

“Furthering one’s education invariably widens and lengthens the career path which one chooses. In my case, the knowledge I acquired through the various business courses I followed gave me the opportunity to meet people who shared my interests, the skills to distinguish excellent performers from average performers, to discern and initiate valid business opportunities successfully and then sustain their operations,” said Lorenzo Mulè Stagno, owner and managing director of Allied Consultants Limited.

The courses, which are delivered at the Malta Business School premises in Birkirkara, are ideal for small- and medium-sized business owners, professionals and business personnel. The purpose of these short business courses is to improve participants’ effectiveness and efficiency in a range of disciplines while focusing mainly on the practicality and applicability to everyday work. “These courses are just a few of other professional courses that we are planning and which are designed for the discriminating executive,” said Christine Caruana, training programmes manager at Malta Business School.
