The government has announced a reduction in the prices of 14 medicines.
They include Medovir, which is used to treat viral infections and has seen a €22.24 price cut; Zithromax, an antibiotic for children, whose price is down by €7.56 and Moxiclav, another antibiotic, whose price is down by €3.59.
