Reconciling Work and Family Responsibilities is the theme of a public seminar to be held on Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm at the University’s Islands and Small States Institute on campus, in collaboration with the Centre for Labour Studies.

The main speaker is sociologist Catherine Hein, head of the International Labour Organisation’s Work and Family Unit and author of various ILO publications on the international experience of reconciling work and family. The other speakers are economics professor Lino Briguglio, who will discuss the factors affecting labour force participation of women in Malta and Anna Borg, a lecturer at the Centre for Labour Studies, who will talk about the price of motherhood.

Saviour Rizzo will chair the seminar.
