The Nationalist Party really has his own particular way of missing the wood for the trees in its eagerness to rubbish responsible proposals by Labour leader Joseph Muscat.

The latest GonziPN spin is on Labour’s proposal not to raise the minimum wage where it fails to mention that this freeze is beyond the statutory cost of living increase.

Under the Gonzi administration people are yearning for a freeze on the cost of living, on the price of gas and fuel and other government induced costs such as transport and license fees.

Households just cannot budget anymore with all the uncertainty around. Can one budget when there is uncertainty over the price of fuel and gas every month? Can one budget travelling costs considering the service provided by Arriva and the extra parking costs that come with this service?

Can one budget when a household has not received an electricity bill since January 2012?

Can the Government at least give a date of when we can expect the next water and electricity bill? Are we to expect it after Christmas or after the next election?
