Video interviews of youths talking about their careers, talents, social life and fashion are being featured on a new youth section The Zone at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone.

Tomorrow two new interviews will be uploaded on the following youths:

Dael Scerri, flamenco dancer

At just 16, Scerri has already been dancing Flamenco for the past eight years. From hard work, training, learning about the history of Spanish dance in general and the flamenco art in particular, Scerri is now a performer in local festivals, on TV and various charity events. Watch her interview on The Zone and be inspired by her amazing moves and passion for the flamenco dance.

Julian Delia, BMX rider

What is it like to be part of a BMX community? Is BMX a sport discipline, is it a hobby that kids can outgrow as soon as they hit their teens, or could it be a future path to a well-paid profession, frequent travelling and international competions?

Watch Julian on The Zone and see what he has to say about this unique activity, the challenges the Malta BMX society is facing, the great fun of belonging to a huge family of bike lovers and the finanical potential this sport can offer abroad.

Get heard and share your own experiences with others. Tell them about your career choice, what it takes to get where you are, the ups and downs you experience and give your own advice to those who are still uncertain about what they want to do in the future.

To be interviewed for The Zone, send an e-mail with a brief description of your career, talent or a social issue you would like to discuss.

Alternatively, you can send your own video.

Send a low-resolution version of your file to the zone@timesofmalta.com.
