6PM’s HIV application is HPA-compliant

6PM’s new application for the treatment of HIV patients, CareSolutions – Climate-HIV, has been certified compliant with the new HIV reporting dataset standard, more commonly known as HARS.

Climate-HIV has been designed by clinicians at North Middlesex hospital with input from several HIV experts and organisations, including the Health Protection Agency.

It has already been well received by several Trusts as it is deemed an ‘HIV clinic in a box’ and its flexibility and quality output has made it an HPA-compliant product for HARS submissions.

“Achieving HPA compliance was one of our strategic objectives for the product. Historically, quality data collection has been very difficult,” Steve Wightmas, deputy chief executive of the Naxxar-headquartered IT and software solutions group, said.

He explained that thanks to input from the HPA consultants and data specialists the company was able to ensure that the right data of the right quality was provided at the right time for submissions.
