The Nationalist Party yesterday unveiled a new billboard showing Labour leader Joseph Muscat covering his mouth with his hands with the tagline: ‘Muscat says nothing’. The billboard takes inspiration from a series of Labour billboards showing Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi covering his eyes and ears, without comment.

Addressing a news conference at PN headquarters, Culture Minister Mario de Marco and Family Minister Chris Said, together with PN executive president Marthese Portelli, explained the concept.

In a press statement, the PN said Dr Muscat does not want to talk about his policies and is keeping his mouth shut.

By not saying anything, the PN said Dr Muscat could do anything he wanted when he gained power together with the same people who were ministers under Dom Mintoff, Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici and Alfred Sant.
