Fimbank makes donation to MCCF

Fimbank plc staff, led by chairman John Grech, recently called on President George Abela at San Anton Palace to make a €10,000 donation to the Malta Community Chest Fund.

Dr Grech traced the institution’s history ever since it established its head office in Malta in 1994. It has since expanded into a group with a global presence and consolidated assets exceeding $1 billion. Dr Grech emphasised the strong bond between the group and Malta, explaining how the underlying aim of Fimbank’s corporate social responsibility programme is to give something back to the local community.

President Abela praised Fimbank for being “one of the first to recognise the advantages available in Malta for financial services” and for being at the forefront of introducing new products, ideas and structures to trade finance globally.
