€9.5m in road repairs, maintenance, planned

Transport Malta has a list of 1,095 planned road repairs and maintenance works which will cost some €9.5 million, Transport Minister Austin Gatt said in reply to a parliamentary question today.

He said works for a total of €2m were expected to be competed this year.

Hi Mr Smith,

I agree with you, that Things are only done in Malta when the election is near. I agree with you 9.5 million euros are not enough to repair all the bad roads in Malta. One would probably need at least between 80 to 100 million euros to repair all roads in Malta and Gozo. It is nice to have new roads built but also existing roads to be repaired and maintained. Yeah that's why all the roads in Malta are perfect, the pavements are top notch, mepa is run brilliantly, Arms are amazing,local transport is the bees knees, the power station as clean as switzerland, the fish farms not polluting our beaches and sea's,the same old contractors playing fair, i think i'll stop or i'll get a blister on my fingers.
