Mġarr Road closed
Mġarr Road in Gozo will be closed to traffic from today until the end of October because of “potential problems with the gradient of the main sewer”, according to the transport authority.
Transport Malta said the issue was raised during “testing along a 130-metre stretch” of the road by the Water Services Corporation and contractor before laying the binder and wearing courses. The closure will start on Monday.
During the works, traffic from Victoria to Mġarr will be diverted to St Anard Street, Ta’ Ħamet Street, Madonna tar-Rummiena Street and Mġarr Road.

If you all think this is bad then come see what is happening at WIED SEQER STREET , located behind Capuccini Church, they have been working on and off at this maybe 200 meter stretch of road for more than 5 months, who to blame for this incompetence, blame the so called ARCHITECT, he must have gotten his license on a matchbook cover, this is the same architect that worked on Xlendi road as well, you all know what happened there with the first heavy rain we had in Nov of last year, and the list of shabby work goes on and on.

Now will some one please ask the British, Swedish, Germans, Norwegians to please take over. Whilst I was in Sweden a few years ago they did 60 km of completely new road in six months and we are talking four lanes tunnels power and drainage. They will be done in one month!!!!

Who is going to fork out for these big incompetences ? Who is going to compensate for the lost business ? Who is responsable for this lettle tiny island ? Is someone responsable ? Is someone accountable ? 12 million road and full of drainage overflow. State of art roads to be bulldozered again. Traffic jams again and again all over Victoria and Mgarr.
