The newly consecrated bishop Mgr Joseph Alessandro, OFM Cap., led a thanksgiving Pontifical Mass at the Cathedral in Victoria last Sunday. He was assisted by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech and Garissa Bishop Mgr Paul Darmanin, OFM Cap. and a number of priests and religious. The Chorus Ecclesia Cathedralis took part. Mgr Alessandro started his mission work in 1989. He was nominated Co-adjutor Bishop of Garissa on June 29 by Pope Benedict XVI.
