Microsoft has extended its channel agreement with Systec Ltd tocover Microsoft volume licensing programmes, following its 2007 appointment of Systec Ltd as authorised original equipment manufacturer distributor for Malta.

Microsoft country manager for Cyprus and Malta  Kostas Loukas has met the Systec and Microsoft Malta teams to review the newly extended distribution agreement and discuss the joint strategyfollowing the agreement. Systec was established in 2001 and is part of the Alf. Mizzi Group of Companies.

It is a leading IT distributor, promoting and supporting top IT brands. Systec is a Hewlett Packard authorised distributor for the complete suite of HP products, services and solutions.

“The Microsoft volume licensing programmes just added to Systec’ s distribution portfolio provide depth to the type of solutions we can offer, especially to resellers operating with medium and large enterprise space,” Systec’s managing director Raphael Micallef Trigona explained.

Microsoft Malta country manager Adrianna Zammit said Microsoft had a deep partnership with industry, academics, governments and international standards which allowed Microsoft to push the state of the art and have a broad impact.
