Racehorse meat unfit
Resources Minister George Pullicino said meat from racehorses cannot be sold for human consumption due to medicinal treatments they might have been given.
Since Malta had no plant to process horsemeat for pet food, the horse carcasses were incinerated.
Mr Pullicino was answering a parliamentary question by Labour MP Anthony Agius Decelis.

So i might ask the Hon. Minister.. Why speak now about Racing Horse Flesh no to be consumed by humans?? People have been eating Racing Horse Flesh for generations on end. Has it had to be a Parliamentary question to reveal such news?
