Lead Events is holding the first in a series of seminars and networking activities for expats on Wednesday.
Themed ‘Expats in Malta’ and hosted by Blevins Franks, the event will be held at the InterContinental Hotel, St Julian’s, at 5.30pm.
The successful formula adopted by Lead Events in other fora will enable participants not only to gain access to some top speakers and content, but also help them make valuable contacts and share experiences with their peers. As a result, they may emerge from their comfort zone and smoothly integrate in Maltese society.
The keynote speaker is a diplomat, the US Embassy’s Winifred Hofstetter, who will share her experiences having recently settled here. Malcolm Bray, manager of the Central Bank’s Financial Stability Department, will give an overview entitled “The Maltese economy as seen from outer space”.
Blevins Franks International manager Alex Grech will discuss the fundamentals of investing for tax efficiency in Malta.
Astra Consulting partner Paul Gostelow will give an insight into working and doing business in Malta.
Teacher Noel Buttigieg will outline the theme “Malta – the island of ritual” and executive coach Amanda Holmes on“Riding the Expat rollercoaster”.
“This is also an activity open to Maltese who may want to make useful contact with expats,” Lead Events managing director James Grech explained.
