Fire at Qormi factory

A number of fire engines were deployed to Qormi this morning after a building adjacent to the Nylon Knitting factory caught fire.
The blaze produced a thick column of smoke which, however, quickly dispersed as the fire was put out.
Informed sources said the section houses batteries and other equipment.
No one was injured.
