Playing his first match in the 2012-13 season for RN Bogliasco, the Italian top division (A1) team, Steve Camilleri was back in familiar goal-scoring vein last weekend.

Camilleri netted five goals in a 12-11 Coppa Italia win at RN Florentia on Saturday and then went on to score six more goals in the two matches played on Sunday against SS Nervi (4) and Promogest (2). The Maltese player is reported to have played a sound game as he finished as his team’s chief marksman in these matches.

Camilleri’s scoring sprees have helped him top Bogliasco’s scoring charts for three out of the four years he has been on the books of the Italian club, thus emulating his feats for Neptunes in these last years.
