Lower part of Marsa 'more closed than Mdina'
The lower part of Marsa had been rendered "more closed than Mdina, former MP Joseph Brincat, a former minister who lives in Marsa, said in a judicial protest.
He said the works on December 13 Road had inconvenienced residents who, for example, had to walk more to reach a bus stop as that near the Holy Trinity Church had become inaccessible.
Access to emergency vehicles was also limited and plans to include a flyover would further increase traffic, he claimed.
He said that the the only people the project was benefiting was the contractors.
He called on Transport Malta to reconsider its plans.

How sad Dr Brincat did not present an alternatives in time. Might have been included by the TM - an authority that listens and acts besides talking.
