The Government should invest in a research and development centre specialised in nanotechnology, according to a confederation of unions.
In its Budget proposals, Forum said the centre would attract international interest from companies and could guarantee a strong investment for the future.
The Government should also commit not to increase the retirement age and not give into pressure from the EU, it said.
There should be a national campaign and a clampdown on tax evasion with better checks and balances on all professions.
Forum also said nothing was being done to help those with precarious jobs that are either poorly paid or at risk. These jobs existed, it said, and were not rare.
“We believe these recruiting companies that grew in recent years are one of the principal causes of precarious jobs,” Forum said.
Many workplaces had employees doing the same jobs as their colleagues but with different and worse conditions.
