Sudanese acquitted in human smuggling case
A jury this afternoon found a 61-year-old man not guilty of human smuggling.
The jurors returned a 7-2 verdict.
Adam Hasan Mohammed, a Sundanese, had been accused of involvement in helping a group of immigrants attempt to leave Malta for Italy illegally three years ago.

Wast of time and money, if this is the best they can come up with the whole system is a joke. All you need is to sell popcorn and drinks.

Why is it legal to enter Malta irregularly , but illegal to leave it irregularly, especially when the immigrant concerned ended up on our shores unintentionally?

I agree with you Steven. I have already commented on this case earlier and said that this man deserves a reward from our Goverment and not to be taken to court.
