Customers who visited BoV branches on September 13 were in for a sweet surprise as they were treated to a chocolate to commemorate International Chocolate Day.

Peter Perotti, chief officer personal banking at BoV, said: “International Chocolate Day was the perfect opportunity to thank customers for their loyalty and good will.”

Facts about chocolate

• It takes a year’s crop from one tree to make half a kilo of cocoa.

• Africa produces over 66 per cent of the world’s chocolate supply.
