Where have we arrived with our investigations? The way we are going, most of the cars in Malta will be destroyed by fire.

Several such fires were reported recently, police have investigated and magesterial inquiries have been made. Have the police appointed one officer to amalgamate all cases as search for some common element? Knowing the usual procedure with magesterial inquiries, can a system be created whereby a super-magistrate is created who can delve into all files and look for common elements, or is this the role of the Attorney General in its vaunted role of being a "super-magistrate"? It looks like a full botch-up of divided roles and evaded responsibilities which needs be addressed.

I suspect the only common elements are the fire and the insurance claims.
