Woman grievously injured in traffic accident
A 38-year-old woman from Victoria was grievously injured and two men and two children were slightly injured in a traffic accident in Capuchin's Street, Victoria this afternoon. The woman is not in a critical condition.
The police said the woman was a passenger in a Volkwagen Golf that was being driven by a 40 year-old man from Qala. A 13-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy were also passengers.
The Golf was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen Passat that was being driven by a 53-year-old man from Nadur. The accident happened at around 1.30 p.m.
All five people involved in the accident were taken to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance.

Another case exactly like Triq tal-Ghajn, where the road is a disaster with potholes but worse of all the police or wardens seem never to intervene even though the traffic is always jammed. All Gozitans know why but no one has the courage to do anything about it, except suffer in silence.

Unfortunately, the road near the G+R supermarket in Capuchin's Street, is an accident waiting to happen.
