Helen O’Grady Academy’s development programme through drama will be opening classes at Pembroke Primary and Rabat Primary schools from next month.

Evening classes are already held in Sliema, Attard, San Ġwann/Birkirkara, Cottonera and Mellieħa.

The Helen O’Grady Academy provides children as young as three with unique opportunities to develop clear speech, fluent delivery and pleasing social skills. The programme gives children the confidence to participate in all aspects of their lives, enables them to ask questions, seek answers and share information with others.

“The importance of drama as a development tool is indisputable,” Alan Montanaro, principal of the Malta branch, explained. “Children who learn to speak out clearly and relate enthusiastically and confidently with others develop skills that make the journey through life much easier.

“The Academy takes a very naturalistic approach to teaching drama and we believe in nurturing the innate talents of all our students to ensure each one is encouraged in a warm, positive learning environment.”
