A 20-year-old man from Kalkara was remanded in custody after he pleaded not guilty to stealing several items from his grandfather, not exceeding €2,330 in value.

Daniel Grima also pleaded not guilty to being in possession of heroin and attacking, threatening, insulting and slightly injuring his grandfather.

He was charged with breaching the peace and with committing the crime while under probation.
