Toilet fire at airport

Fire fighters were summoned to extinguish a fire in the ladies toilets at Malta International Airport yesterday.

The fire was noticed at about 3pm and was quickly put out. Nobody was injured but the blaze caused considerable damage, MIA said.

According to initial in­vestigations, it appears the fire was not accidental and that a toilet paper roll was set alight.
