Weekly consumer advice

• The Distance Selling Regulations do not cover goods bought from online auction sites and from individuals.

• We should always obtain the full contact details of the online seller.

• We should avoid sending money directly to the seller.

• We should read the feedback about the online seller posted by previous buyers.

• We should never leave the auction site and conclude the buying transaction privately with the seller.
