Azimut Benetti Group, the world’s leading private nautical group, is to display 22 boats at next week’s Cannes show, of which four are world premieres.

The group’s strong vocation for research and innovation enabled it to design 10 new models to be launched in the next season to expand the range of yachts offered under the brands in its portfolio: Azimut Yachts, Atlantis, Azimut Grande, and Benetti.

The first four will be presented in Cannes and the others will follow at the Genoa Boat Show.

The first debut will be made by the S Collection from Azimut Yachts, which with the new Azimut 55S, aims to revolutionise the concept of sporty yachts. It offers a new ‘open space’ philosophy in which exteriors and interiors seem to blend seamlessly into a new space formed of sunshine, light and air to accommodate up to 12 guests in the saloon and cockpit.

There is great expectation for the new Magellano 43, which embodies the entire philosophy of the Magellano Collection by Azimut Yachts. A modern interpretation of the classic trawler – from which it borrows a series of technical and functional features, as well as the use of space – the Magellano 43 combines an eye-catching external design, more contemporary interiors and a layout that encourages on-board socialisation.

It assures soft sailing in all conditions thanks to the “dual mode” hull, which makes it possible to sail in total comfort both at displacement speeds and on the planing.

The third launch is from Atlantis with its newest entry level boat which will now be the smallest in the entire Azimut Benetti range of yachts. The new Atlantis 34 hardtop defies the physical constraints of a traditional 34-footer with its open spaces, sleek profile and an integrated hardtop. Its lines are based on the most recent launches from Atlantis such as the 38, 44, 48 and 58.

The fourth new launch concerns Azimut Benetti Group’s megayacht division which is to unveil the Benetti Classic Supréme 132. This new model is part of the Class range which comprises semi-custom megayachts built of composite materials and is a gem of Italian technology and style.

With its 40 metres of sobriety and elegance, the Benetti Classic Supréme 132 is inspired by a particularly contemporary taste, offering a decor playing with the natural tones of oak, the warmth of wengé and diamond-worked leather.

The presence of a 60-metre Benetti, the largest vessel ever displayed in 35 editions of the Cannes boat show, is also expected to be announced.

Azimut-Benetti operates in 68 countries through a sales network of 138 sites. It is represented in Malta by Esprit Yachting Ltd at www.esprityachting.com.
