Man hurt in balcony fall

A 33-year-old British man suffered serious injuries when he fell about one and a half storeys as he tried to climb into his St Paul’s Bay apartment.

The police said they were alerted to the accident in Roman Port Street at about 3am.

An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.
