Whales beach themselves in UK, US
Scientists and conservationists are once again puzzled over the behaviour of whales - with two different pods of pilot whales beaching themselves this weekend on either side of the Atlantic.
A pod of 26 pilot whales stranded themselves off the coast of Fife in Scotland.
Crowds of on-lookers gathered to watch the massive rescue and relief operation.
13 of the 26 whales did not make it.
And in a strange coincidence... another pod of whales beached themselves along the coast of south-central Florida in the U.S.
This time, 22 pilot whales stranded themselves near Fort Pierce.
Only five whales survived.

I can assure you that the area in Scotland in which the whales beached was within a mile of a beach which has in the past won a blue flag for its water quality so I would say that rules out pollution being a cause .also shipping in the direct area is limited to mainly small fishing boats out for lobsters and at the time of the stranding the majority of the small fleet would not of been out if any .having been one of the local people to help in the rescue(trained as a diver with st Andrews in xlendi) and speaking to the vets the opinion is one or more of the animals was I'll and the rest of the pod followed them in and got stranded .but this won't be confirmed until, the autopsy has be completed and samples of ear bone checked .

I have heard stories that some Haarp technologies from Alaska (google this to know more), microwaves anything in its path causing great harm to the enviornment. Even Lake Erie in Canada recently had thousands of fish rotting on its beaches.
Something is seriously strange with these events. It is hard to believe that nature was the direct cause, rather than some kind of bad human intervention.

With the amount of chemicals and underwater activity with submarines and ships disturbing their environment, how could they say surprised?.
