The EU Programmes Agency (EUPA) is organising a full-weekend training course on sport and healthy living between September 14 and 16 at Villa Psaigon, limits of Dingli.
There is a nominal fee of €10, charged against an acceptance letter, and there are limited places available. The course will be delivered in Maltese.
The course is a learning-by-doing experience and will include a number of outdoor activities. It will also tackle the European Year of Active Aging and the annual Youth in Action objective, which emphasises projects promoting healthy behaviours, in particular through the promotion of outdoor activities and grassroots sports.
Ideal participants for this course are project managers, youth leaders, youth workers or members of sport organisations, members of informal groups of young people, NGOs and organisations that work with young people with fewer opportunities that can use sport as a means for social inclusion.
