95 delegates for Med business aviation summit

More than 95 delegates, many travelling from abroad, are attending the Mediterranean Business Aviation Summit at the Intercontinental in St Julian’s on September 14, according to Aircraft CorporateServices (Malta), the event’sprime sponsor.

Following a successful aviation seminar in London earlier this year, organised by ACS (Malta),which provides legal assistance to clients in the registration of aircraft and related corporate services,the company was approachedby Aeropodium suggesting afirst Mediterranean BusinessAviation Summit be held in Malta next month.

ACS (Malta) is using its local knowledge to assist Aeropodium in its organisation.

The event will be chaired by ACS (Malta) legal counsel Fiona Healy. Confirmed speakers include Heli Asset managing partner Emmanuel Dupuy, Ganado and Associates managing partner Max Ganado, PwC tax partner Neville Gatt, Air Support area manager Peter Gravesen, Ascend business and commercial aviation analyst Daniel Hall, Airbus Corporate Jets deputy vice-president Eric Jullien, Airclaims sales director and risk and asset management David Louzado, GainJet Aviation chief executive Captain James McBride, Gates and Partners’ AoifeO’Sullivan, FL3XX chief executive Paolo Sommariva, and Mango Aviation Services director Lars A.Chr. Welinder.

The MBA Summit will provide a platform for manufacturers, operators and any organisation interested in the market, to explore topical issues affecting the industry.

There will be talks from both local and international experts in the field, offering a valuable opportunity to learn more about business aviation in the Mediterranean.

Delegates will also benefit from networking with leading aviation experts from the Mediterranean and all over the world.

ACS (Malta) hope the event will become a yearly one for Malta, fostering ties with aviation business in Northern Africa and other areas of the Mediterranean.
