The Ladies Running Club (LRC) will be holding the 22nd edition of their annual 10k road race on Sunday, September 16 with Mdina Glass again the main sponsors of the event.

The race is scheduled to start at 7.30am from near the Mdina Glass Factory, Ta’ Qali.

The route is the same as last year, passing through Mdina Road down to Attard, St Catherine’s and then back to gathering point via Ta’ Qali.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in both men’s and women’s races. The first Ladies RC runner to cross the finish line will be presented with the Lina Borg Costanzi Award and veterans will also be awarded a trophy and prize in each category.

Apart from the club’s commemorative token, goodie bags will be handed out to all participants. This year a percentage of the race proceeds will be donated to Dar Merħba Bik.
