The Malta Institute of Management, in collaboration with Finance Malta, is organising an educational clinic on Islamic funds on September 20.

The event will provide key information on the subject and encourage practitioners to promote Islamic funds as a business opportunity in Malta.

There will be an introduction by Finance Malta, after which research analysis on Islamic funds in Europe will be presented by Mounsif Chtaiti from the Institute for Islamic Banking and Finance of Germany.

Two panel discussions of 40 minutes each will follow. The panel discussions will be facilitated by Mounsif Chtaiti. Other panellists will include Dr Max Ganado and a representative from Norton Rose, Germany. The event will be held at the Malta Stock Exchange in Valletta between 3.30 and 5.30 p.m. Registration starts at 3 p.m.
