Two elderly persons were injured this afternoon when their small car was involved in a crash with a trailer in Bulebel.

The incident happened at about 4 p.m.

The two, a man and a woman in their seventies, both from Cospicua, were pulled from the wreckage by CPD rescuers. They are being treated in hospital.
