Gozitan members of the Malta Aquarist Society recently held their ninth annual show at the Ninu Cremona Lyceum, Victoria.

There were 20 aquariums on display, featuring a wide variety of fish – from a koi to a small tetra. Each exhibitor took care to provide a suitable environment, such as a tank with plants for angelfish, tetras or barbs, or rocky set-ups for tanganyika cichlids.

The most impressive fish was a koi owned by Joe Cefai.

A Malawi tank, owned by Leon Muscat, placed second, followed by tanks owned by Ruth Fiteni, Peter Attard, Joseph Cefai, Joanne Azzopardi and Leon Muscat, who all placed third.
