COPPERSTONE. On August 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARLENE, aged 80, née Busuttil, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Anita and her husband Joe Schembri and her son Henry and his wife Denise. Her beloved grandchildren Jonathan, Matthew, Stephanie and Janine, her sister Carmen Gaffiero, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.15 a.m. for Stella Mares parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by internment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

O'NEILL. On August 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALBERT of Birkirkara, aged 66, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss, his wife Mary Carmen, his son Major Clinton John O'Neill and his wife Sharon, daughter Clodagh, husband Klaus and granddaughter Emily, his brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

PACE. On August 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDITH ANNE, née Borg, widow of Hannibal, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Catholic Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved daughters Joan and her husband David Engerer, Erika and her husband Hector Spiteri, CPA, Roxanne Rizzo and Danielle and her husband Dr John Mizzi, her treasured grandchildren, Zachary, Bernie and Jonathan, Marija-Evelina, Veronica-Anne and Edward-Hector, Robert and Joseph, and Jacques, Claude, Enrique, Solange and Clarisse, her brother Alfred Borg and his wife Carmen and Sheila Borg Fenech, widow of her brother Joseph, her brother-in-law, Prof. Leslie Pace and his wife Evelyn, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BUHAGIAR. Cherished and unfading memories of SPIRIDIONE, a dear husband and father, on the 13th anniversary of his demise. Always remembered and never forgotten by his wife Mary and his sons Colin and Mario. Today’s 7.15 a.m. Mass at Balzan parish church will be offered for the repose of his soul. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BUHAGIAR. In loving memory of a dear brother, SPIRIDIONE, on his 13th anniversary. Deeply missed by his sister Rose, husband Frans, nephews Andrè and Jean.

CASSAR – MARIA. Treasured and unfading memories of a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on the fourth anniversary of her passing away. Deeply missed by her children Minnie, Edgar, Julie and in-laws. ‘Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name’.

COST CHRETIEN – GLORIA, née Farrugia, on her third anniversary. Sadly missed by her husband Noel and family.

VELLA. In loving memory of INNOCENT, today the 14th anniversary of his tragic death in Tripoli, Libya. Lovingly remembered by his wife Doris, his children Peter, Marica, Marvin, Stefan and their spouses, grandchildren Giada, Ryan, and twins Hannah and Hayley, his mother-in-law Angela and in-laws. Various Masses will be said for his eternal repose.
