Food supplements health warning

A health warning against food supplements which contain 1,3 Dimethylamylamine (DMAA), a central nervcous system stimulant, related to amphetamine, for which a safe level for human consumption has not been established, has been issued.

Two brands of supplements which may have been imported locally are:

  • Jack3D produced by USP Labs of the USA
  • Lipo-6 Black produced by Nutrex USA

Other possible brands have been implicated by the Food and Drug Administration of the United States and warnings have been issued as per list here.
