Is this a gentlemanly way of honouring promises?- Michael Agius, St Paul’s Bay

The Freedom of Information Act 2008 enables anybody who, 20 years ago, had a case before the Commission Against Injustices set up in the late 1980s to provide a means of redress for injustices suffered during the outgoing Labour administration, to find out what was written and decided behind their backs. Confidential reports written by the Commission on the cases brought before it were handed over to Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi. These reports could not be contested because these were kept hidden from the applicant. I wonder whether the PM or any other member of his office bothered to examine these reports.

Is this a gentlemanly way of honouring promises? Should a promise made between two parties be left as a burden on a third party, to be fulfilled?

We are fed up of hearing from the PN what is wrong with the PL.

We want to know what is wrong within the PN and how the party is going to mend its arrogant ways so that it faces the oncoming challenge with sincerity and trust.
